Yarn over thinking: Create success with coaching, mentoring and craft

“When somebody teaches you the moves, you are copying their moves. But after a while, they become different from those moves because you're making them your own. So, sticking with the knitting metaphor…if somebody is teaching you to knit continental style, but after a few years, you're like, ‘wait, wait, wait, there's another way to do this?’ And that really, really clicks with you. Then that becomes your way of doing it.”

Saskia de Feijter, on making things your own, including the transition from being coached to coaching yourself.

I'm honoured to be a guest on A Smaller Life podcast with the absolutely delightful craft teacher and business mentor, Saskia de Feijter
