“How creative collaborations should be!”
“Kim was of astronomical help! I reached out to her to simply ask her advice on a lead magnet I was developing for my branding agency. We ended up truly collaborating together in every sense of the word — using Canva to bounce ideas, rewrite sections of copy, refine the diagrams, and to improve the overall structure and flow of the booklet.
What a joyous and productive experience. Her fresh perspective, insatiable curiosity, and language expertise added huge value. It felt like a totally natural process, and I couldn't have asked for a more creative and more enthusiastic partner to help me complete the project.
I would highly recommend working with Kim on any piece of work that you are struggling with. Whether it's client facing or an internal communications piece, I guarantee you won't regret it!”

“A strong underpinning for everything that I do”
“When I began coaching with Kim, I'd started a podcast that was doing well, but I felt personally I was floundering and barely keeping up with myself, unable to look forwards. Kim helped me to work on my productivity: experimenting with strategies to use my time and energy more efficiently and effectively. This helped to free up some time and brain space to get ahead of myself and take an overview of the bigger picture.
My favourite part which has possibly been the most significant, was Kim's encouragement to define my ‘manifesto’. This has created a strong underpinning for everything that I do and will do going forwards.
I definitely feel that the coaching with Kim has helped me treat all my endeavours more seriously and to see that I already have a strong base that I've been developing, somewhat unwittingly, for years. She's given me a number of strategies and ways of looking at things that I know will help me focus on and achieve my future goals.”

I'm happily surprised after each session where the reflective tools she uses and the structure of the sessions consistently move me forward in learning about myself and seeing different perspectives and possible opportunities. I highly recommend working with Kim if you are stuck, need a new way to think about your situation, and get concrete ways to move forward.”

“Stop swimming in circles, book a call with Kim”
“Many times I have started a call with Kim feeling stuck, shattered and out of ideas only to finish the call feeling inspired, excited and ready for my next move.
Kim selects from a vast range of thinking tools to surgically slice away at your stuckness until something comes loose and, somehow, never quite exactly the way you expect, you get your mojo back.”
— Patrick Potter, Writer & Educator

“Reflection and consolidation”
“Kim has been able to support me through some of the more complex considerations regarding boundaries and compassion in the workplace and self-compassion. Using a range of insightful questions and building on my existing strengths to help me to focus my energy and development. Kim has provided the space and pace I have needed to look forward.”

“Clarity through the whirlwind”
“I met Kim Witten at a pivotal time in my life when I was transitioning to an entrepreneurial project while also managing life with two babies. Saying I felt overwhelmed would be an understatement! Kim helped me navigate that whirlwind with clarity, but what I appreciated most was her openness to the process. I was in a phase of discovery, trying to find my path while also striving for efficiency and productivity, and Kim's guidance helped me balance those needs.
Her support was crucial in helping me prioritize not only my objectives, but also the obstacles and questions that came with them. Kim’s unique understanding as a business owner who has had to build from scratch and adapt through several pivots brought invaluable insight to our conversations. Her communication style is warm and open, making our sessions enjoyable, thought-provoking, and always leaving me with new perspectives to ponder.
If you're looking for a coach who can guide you through change with empathy, practical advice, and a supportive approach, I wholeheartedly recommend Kim Witten.”

“Invest in the insightful mirror of professional coaching”
“Working with Kim I was able to distinguish my strengths and returning cycles of challenges. She helped me to build confidence and without her help it would have taken me so much longer to learn to actually rely on and use my strengths at times when I need it most.
She is a wonderfully kind and patient person and a great human tool for decluttering my thoughts. She helped me to teach myself about myself and that’s just magic. My tendency to use metaphors was embraced and we had a lot of fun with them. I now have sentences and thoughts in my head that guide me to make the right decision.
I trust myself to make hard decisions now more than I did before. When you work alone this is a valuable skill to have.
Getting coached by a skilled professional like Kim is absolutely worth the investment. I think all business owners should grant themselves this experience.”
— Saskia de Feijter, Slow Fashion Business Mentor

“Kim Witten is one of the best”
“I had an initial call with Kim and it was a wonderful experience.
Kim has everything you need from a brilliant coach: a wonderful warmth and friendliness that instantly made me feel comfortable; a relatable (and also highly sophisticated) intellect that she uses in service of those she works with.
She radiated a real feeling of care and concern which made me feel valued (even though I explained at the top of our conversation that I wasn't in the right place for coaching). Kim really is one of the best. Kind, generous and she works very hard to bring value for every individual.”
— David Curtis, Support Worker for homeless charity Thames Reach

“Space to think straight and to focus on me”
“I was feeling all jumbled up. Juggling a caring role for both of my parents, a full time job and parenting. I couldn't think straight.
From my first meeting with Kim I knew we were a good fit. Kim has a lovely warm energy, a calmness and is a wonderful listener. She gave me the space I needed to think straight and to focus on me.
The mix of gentle nudging, practical support and care really worked for me. Kim introduced me to different techniques that helped me to form a plan for my professional development and checked in between our calls to keep me on track! I feel clearer, more focused and more confident.”
— Vicky Morgan, Head of Young & Young Adult Carers

“Collaborative, interactive, and so much fun!”
“I approached Kim when I was overthinking my way through new pathways in my career from a full-time role to entrepreneurship and freelancing. From our first call, I felt Kim’s warmth and empathy. She genuinely listens to you with care.
We both share a human-centred design background and I was impressed to see how she incorporates a human-centric methodology into her coaching practice. This was a massive help for me who needs structure in life to not get distracted. At the same time, Kim was flexible enough to allow for many divergent conversations depending on my contextual needs.
Kim has this amazing ability to help reframe any situation by asking the right questions at the right time. She’s also not afraid to put on a mentor hat when needed.
Kim’s coaching has helped me see and understand myself at a much deeper level — my drivers, energy-givers and drainers, habits and more. Kim brings with her a combination of her years of experience in linguistics and coaching alongside a toolbox of fun tools to make the entire process collaborative, interactive and so much fun.
You can’t go wrong with Kim!”

“A new way of thinking to feel great about what's going on in life”
“I was feeling really overwhelmed with "too much to do". It felt like a real uphill struggle with everything I had to do (or thought I had to do).
Speaking to Kim, it gave me a different perspective, and helped me get in tune with all aspects of my life and things that make me feel happy and content. I realised that addressing many different aspects of both my work and home life was the path to helping me feel better about work and approach it differently, to bring me to a place of feeling in control (as opposed to feeling constantly overwhelmed).
The wheel of life was very insightful, and I still refer back to it to help me get a gauge for how I'm feeling about different things. Having the ability to plan what I'm going to focus on, has set me off into various habits that actually make me enjoy the day-to-day.
I feel like Kim has given me a much needed boost to my confidence but also maturity in how I think and approach issues that I come across. In the middle of last year I was feeling like a couldn't conquer much but now I feel like there's loads that I can achieve by approaching it in the right way.”
— Sheena Widdowfield, Head of Learning and Culture at Opencast

— Jon Park, solo-founder

Through the process I built resilience and learned strategies for dealing with self-doubt and imposter syndrome. After two separate rounds of coaching, I feel more grounded and confident, and ready to tackle whatever challenges come my way!”

“This realization has set me free!”
“Talking through issues and breaking down the factors really helped to clearly define frustrations and behaviors. This naturally allowed me to find ways to understand and then improve. I have also realized that I'm my own biggest critic and I shouldn't be as hard on myself — this realization has set me free!”
— Chris A.

“Transformational”
Kim is a wonderful coach with a unique blend of knowledge and experience, which enables her to help her clients reflect and quantifiably isolate, re-name and dis-cover an alternative view to a problem at hand. The resulting standpoint, even from a single session, can be transformational and this is exactly what happened for me during my last session with Kim. Thank you so much, Kim!

“Broad and deep inquiry underpinned by practical and grounded tactics”
“When I found Kim and saw that she specialises in 'overthinkers', I jumped to get in touch with her. And when I had my first consultation with her, I knew it would be a great fit. I'm halfway through my engagement with her, and I've found her tools and exercises illuminating. They're both very practical and also great at surfacing psychological and emotional blockers. She asks powerful questions that really get to the heart of my challenges.
I'd thought about coaching for a while (and naturally, overthought it!) and am so glad I finally pulled the trigger to plow ahead with my development towards more confidence and peace.”

“Kim helped me with a critical mental shift”
“I worked with Kim over a 10 week period. I was initially drawn to her because of her positioning as 'expert thinking for overthinkers' because I am 100% an overthinker. I was feeling stuck as a founder trying to move my venture forward and about my career generally. I initially thought that what I needed was help organising and prioritising all my to-do's, and Kim had a great solution for that. But over the course of working with her, she managed to shift to addressing the real issue — being too hard on myself and thinking more about the 'should' than the 'is'. My ultimate to-do now is to prioritise being kind to myself, because through my work with Kim I realised there's no point NOT being kind to yourself. Not only because we shouldn't be mean to ourselves, but also because it's simply not effective. I still struggle with those and other issues, but with greater awareness and perspective it's easier to re-centre, stop beating myself up, and keep moving forward.”

“Like taking an awesome road trip”
“Having Kim as a coach was like taking an awesome road trip. She helped me stretch my thinking, kept my stated destination in focus, and was game to explore side roads that sparked my curiosity. My desired destination changed as the landscape shifted and navigating the unexpected together was a fun adventure.
The way she helped me understand my strengths has been life-changing and has opened up a world of new opportunities. If you work with Kim you’ll cover a lot of ground and develop the resources to tackle uncharted territory with gusto.”

“Clearing a path through the forest’
“I started coaching because I felt stuck. I knew I had an idea of where I wanted to be in a couple of years time, but I didn't know how to get there. At home and at work, the waters seemed muddy and working with over the last three months really helped to clear them.
Kim is highly empathetic and non-judgemental. She has some great exercises to get you started if you need it — such as the Weekly Planning spreadsheet — or some great listening skills if you need to do a thought-dump. Some well observed questions can open up a direction and really help you to get clarity.
In particular I found the Weekly Planning and the Effort/Skills/Courage triangle the most revelatory. However, I would say the biggest impact for me has been able to spend quality time over the past three months delving into many aspects of my life. To use an analogy we discussed in sessions — reflecting and coaching can at first seem like entering a dark and dense forest. You know there's a path there, somewhere, but you're not quite sure where it is, where to go, nor are you entirely sure where it might lead. Kim helped me to clear the forest so I could see the path(s) clearly. Compared to where I was three months ago, I feel sure in where I am going, I feel I have the knowledge and skills to hold myself to account and do what needs to be done, I am aware of my weak points and what I need to work on next, and I feel confident that direction I am going in is the right one for meI wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kim to anyone.”

“Brilliant in every way!”
”Before coaching with Kim I felt quite lost, stuck, anxious and overwhelmed — lacking direction and confidence, quite wobbly and fragile, and not really knowing where to start.
By the end of our 3 months working together I had made so much progress! On a practical level, I had accepted a job offer and had been successful with my application for another venture. I had also attended a CPD course.
On an emotional level, I felt so much better about myself and my situation — calmer, more relaxed and grounded in the present, more positive, confident and hopeful about the future, and more at peace and resolved with the past.
The best thing was being able to create a real plan that I could follow through with — while feeling incredibly supported, encouraged and safe throughout the whole process, allowing me to really open up and go deep. It was great being able to reframe and see things from a more useful perspective — allowing me to feel much better about myself and my situation, so I could make the choices and decisions that really serve me.
I achieved way more than what I had imagined — both practically and emotionally. You've made such a huge difference to me and my life and I can't thank you enough. Plus it has been so fun and lovely connecting and getting to know you too!”

“Helped shortcut some endless ruminating spirals and got me into action”
“Kim had a way of holding a coaching space from the moment I contacted her, thru the session, and extended after our talk. I find her coaching style easy going, it flows, it's very natural. She’s been sufficiently caring and healthily distant & observing, it gave me confidence and helped me ponder if things are really that big a deal as i think they are sometimes.
The coaching we had was applied not only to the issue at hand, but it gave me some tools for the future too, it helped shortcut some endless ruminating spirals and get me into action.
She is very generous offering from time to time some free slots to try her coaching – I really recommend jumping on those, it’s how I met her.
Kim’s coaching is very enriched, she really offers a lot from who she is and what she knows. And oh, what a top notch onboarding process *chef’s kiss*. Thank you!”

“Having you hold space to help figure out my future intentions was valuable time spent.”
“I was able to outline my goal with you and work towards that together over time. I enjoyed the big picture conversations and I found the practical conversations very helpful too when I would bring something that I felt was blocking me from making progress that week.
I would recommend coaching to everyone in similar roles to me who is looking to reset intentions. Also, I loooooooved the activity you suggested on which of my strengths energise me and which deplete my energy — I reference that all the time.”

“I now have a starting point for an on going toolkit”

I also feel like I now have a starting point for an on going toolkit to help me with my self confidence, which I've not had before.”

“Thank you for helping me to reflect and think deeper to get to the core of my issue and find a way forward.”
“I really enjoyed my "speed coaching" session with Kim. In the short time that we met, she helped me to reflect on the issues that I was stuck on, gently and sensitively getting me to do some deeper thinking and allowing me — through excellent questioning — to find my own solutions to the problem. I would happily recommend her.”

“Mind blowing perspective!”
I approached Kim for some coaching around my thinking and she blew me away with her perspectives. The ladder of beliefs exercise was particularly useful as it opened my mind to the myriad other possible outcomes, which helped me shift old stuck beliefs!
In this way, Kim empowered me to go away and do the work independently. Kim has a lovely energy and is very patient, she is also generous with her time and clearly cares about her clients.
Thank you so much Kim, you're a diamond!
