The Thought Ladder Worksheet

A step-by-step method for changing your thinking

Sometimes it can seem impossible to change from thinking a persistent thought to a more productive one — it may be too big of a leap for our minds to make. We may not be ready to believe the new thought yet.

A thought ladder helps us shift our thinking in small, meaningful increments.

Using this simple guide, you’ll be able to create a pathway from your current thinking to a much more productive, desirable thought.

The guide also gives you three examples to inspire your thinking:

  • “I’m bad with money” => “I am good at managing my money”

  • “I'm destined to be miserable at my job” => “I can find a job doing something I love”

  • “I hate the way my body looks” => “I feel good about my body”

Use the worksheet to help develop more productive, empowering thoughts about anything.
